- Really, Princess Myzrael? You were trapped in there by giants and now you want to be freed? You think I free captured Princesses every day? You are going to pay me for setting you free, right? I didn’t think so.
- Listen, you dumb Great Plains Creepers; I’m here for your Spider’s Silk. I have sisters who need your silk for … boots. And capes. We can do this the easy way, or the hard way. Drop. Your. Silk.
- League of Arathor! I have a personal question for you. You have like 350 people wandering around in a … gully, for lack of a better term. But there are like 2 tents. Where does everyone sleep?
- Hey, Prince Nazjak! Thanks for dropping that sweet Tidal Charm, it was my first trinket, like, ever. Pity I had no idea how to use it. Dumb trinket.
- Stromgarde! Oh, you mighty fortress! I hope you don’t mind that I took that Mageweave Bandage recipe and sold the rights to it on the open market. Now, everyone can learn it, and I’m rich. Good luck getting your fortress back!

Freaking spider’s silk. I don’t even want to know how many of those freaking spiders I’ve killed in my day. Here’s an addition for you though:6. Goldthorn… I thought this was supposed to be the go-to place for that stinking weed. WHERE’S THE GOLDTHORN!?!?
I made a lot of money off Spider’s Silk – buying low from those foolish enough to list it less than 5g, making it into Robes of Arcana, selling it to desperate Warlocks for 35g. That pattern FINALLY paid for itself. Also: Goldthorn is a lie.
I made some gold on the Robes and the 5 patterns I farmed for them, but I don’t think any of it was worth the time investment to get/make them. I did make some decent gold off of selling the spider’s silk itself there for a while, before the drop rate went down even further and demand was still reasonably high.Thankfully, the days of farming the spider’s silk are pretty well over and done with thanks to heirlooms and quest rewards. Sadly, the days of farming spider’s silk are pretty well over and done with thanks to heirlooms and quest rewards.
Not only are there wandering spiders, they have wandering raptors. They have wandering raptors and they all sleep in tents? Maybe they’ve discovered that raptors have a fear of going down steep slopes and that’s better than a palisade (like Hammerfall). I suppose that explains the slopes at Goshek Farm and Northfold, too.
OMG THE RAPTORS. I can see it now. “If we just hide in this ditch, you see, the Raptors will be unable to get down the hill.”"What if they come down the road?”
