Cynwise’s Battlefield Manual is nominally about PvP battlegrounds in the World of Warcraft. In practice there’s a lot of shop talk about the various class mechanics of my primary characters, especially Warlocks. But mostly this is about Battlegrounds.
The site’s namesake, Cynwise, is my Warlock main on Durotan who is always up for a good fight — and fishing. There are a lot of aspects to WoW that she enjoys, so don’t be surprised if she doesn’t always stick to the stated topic of her weblog.

Her older brother, Cynwulf, is recovering from a crippling case of PTSD after becoming a Death Knight. A former 59 DK twink drunkard, he is now clean and sober and working his way to redemption through trade. You can find him, and his mentor Waylan, at Cynwulf’s Auction House Manual.
Her good friend Ambassador Cynderblock (not her real name, of course) is a level 19 twink who makes a very occasional appearance here. You can find out more about her, and my other low-level PvP adventures, on Green Tinted Googles, my twink blog.
As for me? I’m called Cyn, for obvious reasons. I’m a happily married IT monkey with two kids who help keep me from playing this game too much.
